My dad - the rocker!

Yesterday I left my husband at home with the kids to go and see Toto live in London. Man, they are amazing musicians! Our talented Rich said that he wouldn’t really call himself a musician after hearing them going for it. The old rockers are well worth seeing if you ever get the opportunity. For me though it was very hard getting past the fact the vocalist was a spitting image of my dad, Robert Erlandsen! With his moustache, belly (not fat!!!), dark sidecomb hair. He even dressed like my dad when my dad goes casual; jeans, dark tight shirt and a suit jacket! And you wont believe it; but his name is Bobby!!! So dad –you rock!!! And apart from the fact that I paid to get in and I’ve never heard my dad sing like that before –I suddenly thought that maybe all that travelling building a business could have been his cover for something quite legendary! And some great songs they’ve made in their time, and they played them all… with a good mix of old and new I simply have to thank my brother for making me aware of classics like Africa, Rosanna, Without your love and I’ll be over you –to mention a few. Well, thanks to my husband for letting me out of the house!!!

And just to whet your appetite, here's a cool picture of Tias...

The Snotty Princess

This is our beautiful Eden...all dressed up like a princess, with a pretty snotty nose! This is just a tiny sample though (we spare you the really gross pictures!)- we can't believe how much snot can come out of such a small nose in such a short time. Incredible. Well its all cleared up now, which is great. So nice to get her up in the morning without dried-on bogey caked all over her face!
